Cuscuta japonica

Japanese dodder is a parasitic vine that can grow on a multitude of plant hosts. It is cultivated in Asia for use in herbal remedies for the kidneys, low back pain and sexual wellness. It has only recently been introduced to the United States but spreads quickly in warm climates, where it can grow up to 6 inches per day.
